Sam Beltris was a commander onboard the USS Who's Your Mama 2, serving with Captain Maloney and Mari Tann. Maloney eventually promoted Beltris to command a crew himself, which crash-landed on the planet Alturan on their first solo mission. Beltris led his crew to survive among an outbreak of the epidemic that turned dead corpses into the Undead, which was brought upon them by the Infinities pirate gang.
