Jor Talan was a commander on the USS Who's Your Mama and served alongside Captain Maloney as his right-hand. He also was close to fellow crew members Rimmer and Avani as they served together on Maloney's ship. Eventually, on the planet Zepisia, Talan was killed by the bounty hunter Boba Fett, causing Maloney to fear and hate Fett.
